Dave has a total of 28 years experience in a wide range of drilling engineering, supervision and management positions. He has worked and lived around the world including UK, USA, Spain, Denmark, Tunisia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Philippines, Algeria, Dubai and Pakistan.
His broad experience includes;
- Deepwater and ultra-deepwater exploration
and development - HPHT drilling operations and ultra-HPHT
planning - Subsea completions
- DP Drillships and Semi-submersibles, moored
semi-submersibles,jack-ups, platforms and land rigs - Remote locations; offshore and onshore including areas with severe security problems
- Horizontal wells
- Carbonate and H2S drilling
- Highly environmentally sensitive locations, onshore and offshore
Dave graduated from Aberdeen University with a BSc in Engineering. Following an initial spell with Chevron UK, Dave has worked for a number of Operators around the globe both large and small. He has on a number of occasions established entire drilling teams and operations from scratch for clients with no previous experience as an Operator. In recent years Dave has specialised in the planning and operation of leading edge wells in the deepwater, ultra-deepwater and HPHT arenas. Dave is currently working on projects in Australia and the Falkland Islands.

Over the past 29 years Richard has built up a wealth of diverse drilling and work over experience working for a number of Operators in engineering, supervisory and management positions on onshore and offshore projects in the UK, USA, Holland, Italy, Thailand, Oman, Trinidad, Pakistan, Algeria, Egypt and Colombia and has experience in most types of oil and gas exploration and development wells and rig types.
Born in Essex in the United Kingdom, Richard obtained a BSc degree in Geology from Bristol University before joining Shell International as a well site petroleum engineer in 1981.
Following an initial period working on land rigs in Holland as a petroleum engineer, Richard transferred to the drilling department and worked his way up from assistant driller to drilling supervisor working on land rigs in Holland, Thailand and the Sultanate of Oman.
Following his departure from Shell in 1989 he spent five years working for various oil and gas operating companies in the North Sea in both onshore and offshore engineering and supervisory positions including two and half years as a senior drilling supervisor on the Claymore platform for Elf Enterprise Caledonia.
For the last 9 years he has been working on contract to a large international Operator on projects in Algeria, Pakistan, Trinidad, the Gulf of Mexico, the UK and Colombia.

Business Development / Recruitment Manager
Jemma joined the RAF as an Engineer in 1990. On completion of her engineering training she spent 16 years providing remote location engineering support to both fast jet and helicopter squadrons, serving on joint force operations in places such as Iraq, Bosnia, Afghanistan and Northern Ireland. Her last role was serving on the Search and Rescue squadron at RAF Lossiemouth before entering the Oil and Gas recruitment business in Aberdeen.
In 2006 she joined a well respected Oil and Gas recruitment company in Aberdeen and was quickly promoted to Recruitment Manager where she remained until she was headhunted by one of the well known Drilling Specialist agencies in Aberdeen. Over the past few years Jemma has built up extensive knowledge of both the domestic and international drilling markets with Super-majors, majors and independent operators from the complexity of the drilling market to the ever changing commercial awareness needed to provide a quality service to both clients and consultants.
Jemma is now responsible for REC Consultancy's UK and international business development opportunities as well as continuing to provide the highest level of service to it's existing clients.

Business Manager
Gill has over 25 years experience in Management at a Senior level with organisations including Compass Group. This has allowed her to accumulate a wealth of business knowledge from client/staff relationships to financial acumen.
Her last position before joining REC Consultancy Services Ltd was as Company Director, heading up a prestigious award winning Health and Leisure business employing 250 staff and providing a high level of service to over 15,000 clients.
During that time Gill led the team responsible for gaining Investors in People accreditation along with a National industry award for training.

Administrator
During his 34 years with GSK Stuart held a variety of Production, Supervisory and Management positions at the Barnard Castle, Ware and Dartford sites.
His role not only involved working on a number of large Production projects but also working with GSK suppliers.
Stuart took early retirement in 2004 before joining the company in 2008 to assist with the initial start up of REC Consultancy Services Ltd and has worked with them as an administrator since then.
